  • Unbound Theatre’s award-winning Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival comes to Holy Trinity, Prestwood with one of the most famous tragedies of them all!

    Square 1

In the aftermath of a bitter and bloody war, there waits a prophecy. Once uttered, there can be no wavering from what it foretells, and the words are about to be spoken. Blood will have blood, and fateful ambition will rob a man of everything he holds dear...

This blistering new production of Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ is perfect for fans of the Bard, as well as those a bit suspicious of Shakespeare! Had a bad experience with his plays at school? Can’t cope with another show full of men in tights? This is the performance for you!

The performance starts at 7.30pm with doors opening at 7pm. The performance will be approximately 2 hours long (2 halves of 50 mins, plus a 20 min interval). Tickets are £10/£8 for under 16s and concessions. Visit htprestwood.org.uk/macbeth to book your tickets. Tickets are limited so advance booking is highly recommended!

For more information about the performance itself, please visit unboundtheatre.co.uk. For all other queries, please email Lesley on marketing@htprestwood.org.uk or pop into the office. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Presented as part of the Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival, winner of ‘Best Cultural Event’ at the inaugural Bucks Spark Awards.

  • liturgyOur liturgy has a structure and, whilst the content may vary week by week and season by season, this structure remains the same. It is a constant, we know where we are in the service and where we are going next. It can be easy for regular churchgoers, and Clergy alike, to navigate the service on ‘auto-pilot’. But why is our liturgy the way it is? What is it purpose? And what does it say about what we as a worshipping community believe. This session will be led by the Clergy and will focus on the liturgy within Common Worship, perhaps touching on the Book of Common Prayer which is ordered differently. Tuesday 15th July, 7.30pm, St Mary Magdalene, Great Hampden.

  • We work in the community with Acts 435. Acts 435 is a giving website that allows people to give money directly to others, and 100% of what is donated via Acts 435 goes directly to those in need. When so many people need so much help giving to charities and good causes can sometimes feel overwhelming and hard. Acts 435 puts people who want to help in touch with people who are in need, through a network of churches and local charities. Acts 435 enables virtual, online giving for specific needs.

If you would like to be notified by email when a local Acts 435 is made by us, please let one of the clergy know.
